How does it work?
1️⃣ Place the alarm on your bike wherever you want (for example, under your saddle).
2️⃣ Activate the alarm using the wireless remote control.
3️⃣ Now, when the alarm sensor detects movement, it will first give a warning sound.
4️⃣ If the thief continues trying, the long alarm will start (8 seconds) and repeat until the thief is gone.

How loud is the alarm and does it really deter thieves?
Our bicycle alarm has three sound levels: 80, 100 and 120 decibelsAt the highest setting, the alarm is so loud that it immediately deters thieves. All our test cases show that with this level of noise, thieves quickly give up and run away.
For maximum security, we recommend combining the alarm with a sturdy chain lock, such as our bicycle lock + alarm.
How long does the battery last and can I replace it myself?
The batteries (3x AAA) of the alarm last for approximately 10 minutes with average use. 6-8 months along. When the battery is low, the alarm will emit short beeps as a warning. You can easily replace the batteries by opening the back of the alarm: first unscrew the screw and then pry open the cover with the screwdriver or the blue triangle.
The remote has a 27A 12V battery. This battery lasts at least 12 months with you. And you can order on bol.comYou open the remote with a screwdriver via the two slots on the side.
Is the alarm waterproof/suitable for all weather conditions?
Yes. Our bicycle alarm is IP65 certified and thus fully protected against rain and dust. It has been extensively tested under various weather conditions and continues to function reliably, whether it's raining heavily, storming, or freezing.
Does the bicycle alarm fit on every bicycle (including e-bikes and cargo bikes)?
Yes, the alarm fits any bicycle. Thanks to the included tie wraps and double-sided tape you can easily attach it to different places on your bike.
Do you want a more secure mounting? Then you can use the alarm with mounting set purchase. This will secure the alarm extra securely. But please note: the set is only suitable for round rods.
